Dr. Gus Bal graduated from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. After graduating in 1994, he did a fellowship in Implant Dentistry at New York University. Dr. Bal completed training for IV Sedation at Duquesne University. He is continually expanding and updating his knowledge to offer superb dental care.
Dr. Bal has been voted as “Best Dentist in Scarborough” by the Readers Choice Awards for the last four consecutive years, most recently in 2017.

Cielomar is originally from the Philippines, and she studied dental assisting at George Brown College. Today, she’s been working in the dental field for over three years now, with hopefully many more to come. What she enjoys most about her role at Bal Dental Centre is that she can help ease our patients’ fear or anxiety while also supporting them on their journey to smile confidently again!
Away from work, Cielomar has two amazing parents, two older brothers, a younger sister, a loving fiancé, and a big, gentle dog. When she isn’t busy caring for teeth, you can often find her watching movies, reading books, or playing her guitar. She also enjoys going on long drives and just exploring nature! Generally speaking, she strives to do her best in all aspects of life so that she won’t have any worries or regrets in the end.

Dedicated and compassionate Certified Dental Assistant graduated in Medix College with a strong commitment to patient care and clinical excellence. With a solid background in chair-side assistance, sterilization protocols, and patient education, I strive to create a comfortable and positive experience for every patient. Proficient in digital radiography, dental software systems, and maintaining efficient workflow in fast-paced dental environments. I work closely with dentists and hygienists to ensure smooth procedures, accurate documentation, and high standards of infection control.

My name is Ayesha Nousheen, and I am a dedicated dental assistant with over 2 years of Canadian experience and a strong focus on patient care and clinical efficiency. I support a wide range of dental procedures, maintain strict infection control protocols, and work to ensure that every patient feels comfortable and informed during their visit. I am fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi, and Telugu, which helps me communicate effectively with a diverse patient base. Outside of work, I enjoy painting, baking, and reading books. My areas of expertise include chairside assisting, dental radiography, patient education, and maintaining accurate dental records.

Debbie first joined our team two years ago, and she has 19 overall years of experience in the dental world. She attended Durham College (graduating with high honors) and then moved onto Oxford, where she was the Valedictorian of her dental hygiene class! She is certified in CPR, First Aid, and Invisalign and has worked in a variety of dental specialties, including 10 years in orthodontics, 12 in oral surgery, and 5 in pediatric care. She is a proud member of the ODAA and the CDHA. Her favorite part of the job is being able to educate patients about the relationship between dental health and overall personal health. She loves giving hygiene tips and tricks and seeing the improvements in patients over time.
Debbie is from Ajax, and she has a loving husband of 11 years, an adorable daughter, a charming son, and two energetic dogs. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, shopping, traveling to exotic places, Latin dancing, and watching home renovation shows. Her friends and family say she’s an overachiever who frequently seeks new challenges to conquer. She likes to keep things interesting!

She brings a strong clinical foundation and managerial expertise.she is fluent in English Hindi and Punjabi. She loves to travel and explore new places.
Sindhu Chennamaneni
Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). I am an Internationally trained dentist who thrives to care for the peoples smile and their oral health.
I can speak English and my mother tongue, Telugu, fluently and Hindi in bits and pieces. I enjoy doing art and crafts. I have a passion of drawing, sketching and decorating.
I have keen interest in the field of oral surgery and got hands on experience in implantology program back in India.

A Port Perry native, Carrie has been working in the world of dentistry for over a decade so far! She loves spending her days around other people and helping them smile brighter.
Away from work, Carrie has been married to her loving husband for over 20 years, and they have two boys together. When she isn’t busy at the office, you can usually find her gardening.
Gene, Dental Hygienist
Gene may be new to our team, but her career in dentistry covers almost two full decades so far! What she enjoys most about being a hygienist is getting to help people achieve excellent oral health here at Bal Dental Centre.
Originally from the Philippines, Gene is happily married to the most wonderful man in the world, and they have three gorgeous children. In her spare time, you can often find her mountain biking, swimming, and watching movies with the whole family. She is very passionate about dentistry, her loved ones, and God above all things!
Niru, Registered Nurse
Niru joined us in early 2017 and brings over 7 years of nursing experience to our practice. She loves how her job enables her to help many different kinds of people, and she looks forward to it every day. She is a graduate of George Brown College in Toronto. Dedicated to education, she has received the Academic Pathway for Internationally Educated Nurses Graduate Certificate, the Interprofessional Collaborative Care Certificate, as well as special training in IV therapy and phlebotomy.
Niru is happily married and the proud parent of two lovely daughters. When she can, she enjoys traveling and gardening.
